The International Social Relay (RSI) is a specialised service working closely with the Reception Office for Mobile Students (BAEM) and Reception Office for Mobile Researchers (BACE).
Please feel free to drop into the RSI with any questions you might have. Opening times are from Tuesday to Friday, 9h to 13h. |

Social work services |
|
|
|
|
The social worker at the International Social Relay can help you to get through difficult times. She is bound by medical confidentiality, and is there to listen to you, whatever your problems may be (medical, family, financial, administrative). She can assess your situation and try and find the best solution with you. If you need to contact other specialised services, she can also help you with this.
The social worker operates closely with university management services as well as with external public and private organisations.
In urgent cases, if you are a Cité resident and newly-arrived, the social worker can also consider your application for financial help.

Psychological help |
|
|
|
|
Students can also make appointments with professionals at the BAPU- PASCAL (University psychological help centre). Two psychologists are on hand to help students with any personal difficulties. This service is reserved for students only.
An agreement with the Saine Anne hospital centre allows students to take advantage of facilities at the psychiatric department.

Personal pedagogical help and writing workshop |
|
|
|
|
Students and researchers can meet up one-to-one with a teacher seconded from the university for:
> Methodological help with writing or public speaking,
> Assessment and follow-up of written or oral work,
> Help with a university project.
They can also work in groups or take part in a writing workshop “writing up research in French” to explore and expand the potential of the French language, and help turn research into good written prose.
WORKSHOP: WRITING UP RESEARCH IN FRENCH
Workshops take place Wednesdays, from 11h to 13h and Thursdays from 9h30 to 11h30.

Healthcare |
|
|
|
|
All residents of the Cité can climb aboard the Bus Info Santé to receive free, anonymous healthcare. A doctor and medical team are there to answer all your questions concerning dependency, risks linked to HIV, stress, food or contraception.
The EMIPS (Mobile healthcare bus) is parked at the entrance to the Cité internationale two wednesdays per month (1st and 3rd) from 16h to 20h. |
