The Cité came about thanks to the generous donations of these well known bankers and industrialists: Emile Deutsch de la Meurthe, David David-Weill, John D. Rockefeller Jr. and many others to help turn this vision into a reality today.
In the 21st century, our foundation invites you to continue in pursuit of the vision our founders had. You can participate in activities at the Cité to the benefit of the many international students and researchers, who will be useful in the scientific and economic influence of France in Europe and in the world beyond.
Updating the property, renovating the cultural and sports facilities, creating new residences to welcome even more international students and researchers : this ambitious program will increase cultural exchange and dialogue which is indispensable for the Cité to continue to develop and carry out its services.
The Cité International of the University of Paris, a private foundation, needs you to help carry out its mission in the 21st century. In the face of the International crisis and tensions of today, you can bring about understanding through dialogue and progress.
All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible, for individuals and for our corporate sponsors alike.
